COLUMN: Composting can enrich soil, make plants flourish: February ended like a lion, but so far March has not been too bad. At the end of February, we had terrible winds (including tornadoes), hail storms and torrential rainstorms. Many forests, lawns and gardens were damaged, especially up near the North Carolina border.
